A few years ago I made a new friend, very exciting, anyway she made mention that she wanted to learn to quilt, so I volunteered to help her. It took us many months, okay maybe more like a few years....
We did get it done eventually and during a recent visit (we've both moved since we finished it) I remembered to take a few pictures.
It's a very simple flying geese pattern, we got it from a magazine, couldn't even tell ya which one it was after all this time. My friend liked the color scheme, and it was a learning experience for me too, as it was my first flying geese quilt.
We hand stitched along the chevrons and kept it simple.
I like it. ☺
